Full Job Description

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. The Live Productions team within Technical Services is looking for three students to assist with managing the props store during the first semester. In this role, you'll oversee the loan and return process for props used in student assessments, enhance the Connect2 booking system, and help maintain the Technical Services assets database.,

  • Work closely with Stage and Workshop technicians to meet production needs
  • Assist the Stage Manager and Director by preparing rehearsal spaces and keeping them tidy
  • Attend rehearsals, take detailed technical notes, and compile daily reports
  • Help coordinate the movement of sets and props between rehearsal rooms and the theatre
  • Report Health and Safety hazards and equipment concerns to technical staff
