Full Job Description

Our site at Rogerstone Park, Newport, employs around 1,600 people and specialises in the development and production of a wide range of chilled meals for retail customers., It's a dynamic, fast-paced environment and we now have an opening in our team for a Technical Services Manager. Reporting to the Head of Technical, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining technical data and information in relation to internal and external KPIs, ensuring all systems and reports are up to date.
  • Delivering and maintaining external audit status.
  • Providing guidance and support to the site's Auditors and Systems Technologists.
  • Directing and supporting the HACCP and TACCP teams in the development of improved systems.
  • Managing product information and ensuring all customer and internal KPIs are achieved.
  • Responding to and investigating customer complaints.

    Strong technical background gained in a chilled foods manufacturing environment.
  • Ideally education to Degree or HND level in Food Science or similar.
  • Demonstrable experience in internal auditing.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of current food legislation.
  • HACCP trained (advanced).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with colleagues at all levels.
  • Customer facing experience.
