In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England. The Technical Support Analyst supports the operations and maintenance of an effective technology stack focussed on delivering the support needed for the SGB business. Providing support through the ServiceNow system, they work with other members of the SGB IT Team to deliver standard fixes and changes across all solutions. Functional support of the day-to-day operational delivery of the technical solution is also part of the Technical Support Analyst responsibilities. The Technical Support Analyst is aware of most aspects of the Information Technology deployed in the SGB business. Key responsibilities and duties: Ensuring the basics of the department are running well. Activities would include;

  • Toner replacement
  • PC and equipment stock management
  • PC masteringIdeally we think this suits an A-Level candidate, one who wants to get into work and specifically
  • 'Runner' on site, ie quick response to individuals desk / meeting room issues

    This part time (20 hours) opportunity suits an A-Level candidate, one who wants to get into work and specifically IT but doesn't intend to follow further education at this point. A Graduate would also be suitable, but they do need to be aware of the level of the work. It will not require any specific IT knowledge, just an enthusiasm to be in IT.
