The role will include carrying out testing of hardware and software, and carrying out upgrades and modifications to DP systems. You will support our installed base of systems, both in the UK and around the world, both in the office and occasionally on site if and when necessary. In this role you will focus on:

- Carrying out analysis of diagnostic files, collaborating with your team members and the engineering/development teams to resolve complex issues.
- Working on customer site, on occasion.
- When not resolving on site issues, your task will be to look for opportunities to improve the reliability and stability of the DP systems.
- Working closely with our sales teams to advise on the technical aspects of our bids for upgrades or new systems.

- Knowledge of automation, control algorithms and communication networks, e.g., Modbus (RTU/TCP IP), OPC-UA, Profibus, Profinet, etc.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Willing to travel within UK and overseas for short-term working.
- Valid UK/EU passport to meet travel requirements. What will make you stand out:
- Working towards or hold IEng or CEng qualification.
- Full UK driver's license.
