Full Job Description

  • Act as the first point of contact for public inquiries, officers, and the Planning Inspectorate about Planning and Enforcement Appeals.

  • Register and process appeals, ensuring compliance with deadlines and legislation.

  • Organise public inquiries and hearings and attend events.

  • Support CIL administration, including processing forms, ensuring payments, and monitoring compliance.

  • Improve systems for better CIL and S106 administrative services.

  • Produce management reports on S106 and CIL incomes and expenditures.

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the efficient delivery of planning functions, including the management of appeals and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), S106 agreements, and the administration of applications for Assets of Community Value, Experience in office work, preferably but not essential in a Planning Department.

  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital solutions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Teamwork and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and self-motivation.
