Full Job Description

To work as part of our Desktop Operations Team, in order to support and manage our desktop environment and provide a high-quality service to the healthcare community and GPsurgeries, our key responsibilities of the role are:

  • To take ownership of, and resolve, allocated Incidents and service requests raised by users through the IT service desk
  • Provide technical support, and undertake the necessary work required, to implement and deliver to agreed SLA's.
  • Have a high knowledge of IT system and supporting them, Such as Office 365, Windows 10 and 11., Assist with 2nd line support via a central service desk ensuring it is maintained to acceptable levels as required
  • Provides a high technical level of fault diagnosis support for all desktop equipment and associated specialist peripheral devices. Reports any problems to maintenance companies as necessary
  • Build and develop productive working relationships with stakeholders such as clinicians, customer organisations, other technical or non-technical teams, other NHS organisations and external suppliers
  • Maintain existing documentation. This includes the creation of installation and user scripts
  • Takes responsibility for own workload
  • Provides a high technical level of fault diagnosis support for iOS devices. Have an understand that will allow you to diagnose and fault-find issues
  • Candidate must have a FULL UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENSE
