Full Job Description

Manage the environmental and quality elements of the Group Companies and operations with a view to ensuring overall legislative compliance.

Principle Accountabilities
· Responsible for sampling, testing (e.g. but not limited to WM3 and LOI) and interpretive analysis of waste materials and resources handled by the Group - including those incoming - in-situ and prior to export to other facilities, disposal and/or reprocessing routes.

· Have a vast understanding of LFT1 and follow the guidance to ensure the company is compliant.

· Conduct and oversee audits pursuant to the above, and relevant or pertinent to all stages of the business.

· Liaise with clients and brokers regularly to ensure compliant inputs and removal of non-compliant contaminants or other contrary materials

· Liaise with Testing Laboratories to ensure timely, consistent and quality dataflows of sample results & analyses across all facilities in scope.

· Coordinate, cooperate and collaborate positively with all relevant Colleagues in terms of peers, Seniors and Operatives.

· Produce operational reports as directed in a timely fashion, including any sub-datasets required for any ad-hoc operational or business purpose.

· Attend meetings as required/directed.

· Manage and support the team to ensure completion of all required reports and information by required deadlines.

· Be responsible for own health and safety and that of all others during the course of business on own premises and those of clients or elsewhere where operational business may be being conducted as part of normal or specified duties - report appropriately any unsafe conditions.

· Support the team where appropriate to acquire new business and develop any constituent Company or the generic Group of Companies.

· Manage any individuals assigned under your control on either a temporary or permanent basis

· Attend training and development courses or programmes as directed.

· Liaise with Regulators, for example, but not limited to, the Environment Agency or HSE
