Technician

Here at Chelmsford, you will report to the accomplished service manager Andrew Gerrie, who will give on-going support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed in your role. • Carrying out MOT tests in line with ministry guidelines


• Reporting any failures to the Workshop Controller, advising work required for the vehicle to be road worthy


• Occasionally support in completing repairs


• Complete all relevant paperwork and lease with the customer


• Carrying out any ad-hoc duties as and when required


• Vehicle servicing and repairs
  
  The ideal candidate will have minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand or non-brand), a full and valid UK driving licence, and is a qualified MOT tester. You'll be self-motivated whilst being able to support your team, ambitious and eager to learn, and are able to work to and maintain the highest of standards to all vehicles that take a spin through our doors.

Salary: £49,000 OTE (including £27,000 to £41,000 basic depending on qualifications and experience, plus bonus and additional £2,000 for EV qualification)

Hours: (42) Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, including 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:00am - 12:00pm
