Full Job Description

  • Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and CAFM system is updated.

  • Respond promptly and positively to service call requests received from the CAFM system, to assess the requirements of the job and conduct repairs as and where necessary and update the CAFM system.

  • Prioritise fabric/electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.

  • Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

  • Ensure that compliance documentation is always completed and up to date.

  • Advise the on-site customer (manager) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site.

  • Conduct minor alterations and installations within the individual's technical competence and in accordance with current specifications.

  • Complete small electrical/mechanical/Fabric installation projects and refurbishments within skill set.

  • Always comply with the company's Health and Safety Policy.

  • Always represent Mytime Active and the Asset Department in a professional manner and develop a good working relationship with our internal customers and staff.

  • To provide detailed quotations to the Contract Manager to allow for the purchase of parts and materials.

    Knowledge of Health and Safety, including risk assessments, permits to work and COSHH.

  • The ability to conduct minor maintenance works - DIY, Carpentry, Plumbing and Electrical works

  • Previous building maintenance experience with fabric, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.

  • Ability to dentify technical issues and faults, finding quick, safe, and economical solutions.


  • Qualifications:
  • An apprenticeship and Qualification in, Building Fabric, Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing City & Guilds or Equivalent.

  • Pool Plant operator qualification (Desirable)


  • Role requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Must be able to attend evening and weekend meetings/events when required and travel between sites.
