Full Job Description
- Work closely with Chemists, Materials Scientists, Engineers, and Biologists to support activities including chemical analysis, device fabrication, and applications testing
- Perform both routine and one-off laboratory testing such as Scanning Electron Microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, SEC-HPLC, LC-MS, FT-IR and dry weight
- Support with processes for production and modification of polymer membranes, including preparation and pH adjustment of stock solutions, laser cutting and visual inspection of membranes
- Write up experimental findings in Electronic Lab Notebook entries and Technical reports
- Contribute to lab organisation, e. g. maintaining stocks of reagents and chemical waste disposal Who you are
- Either Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with minimum of 3 months laboratory experience, or Science A-levels (or equivalent) with minimum 2 years laboratory experience
- Experience in wet chemistry and/or one or more of the analytical methods listed above
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Teamworking ability, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, able to multi-task efficiently It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

The salary range for this role is £27-32K per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
