Full Job Description

By joining our innovative and friendly team in the Manchester office, you will have the opportunity to work across various sectors. As part of a dedicated team of engineers and technicians, you will contribute to a range of medium-sized projects. You will also have access to the latest industry-standard software and information management techniques to produce high-quality, precise, and detailed design packages.

Your role will involve providing suitable Civil & Structural drafting services for various building types and materials. You will manage specific work packages under the guidance of a Senior Engineer or Senior Technician. Initiative is expected, and you may also oversee junior CAD staff.

You will work closely with other design team members to deliver safe, efficient, and buildable solutions., + You will work on exciting projects with niche clients in a range of sectors, including Life Sciences, Industrial, Custodial and Education, Rail, Aviation, Defence and Nuclear
+ Our growing team provides progression opportunities, where you will be encouraged and supported to develop your role and grow your skills to explore career paths that help maximise your technical skills
+ You will work within a supportive team with the ability to plug into and access our wider network of professionals
+ You will have the opportunity to see your designs come to fruition through site visits and client engagement

+ HNC level 3 or equivalent in Construction or Civil Engineering , ideally aiming for Eng Tech TMICE in the future
+ Revit and AutoCAD experience is essential
+ You will have, or be developing, knowledge and experience of traditional building materials, e.g. Steel, Timber, Concrete and RC detailing, and overall site wide infrastructure and earthworks.
+ Need to have good working knowledge of industry best practices for structural detailing
+ Eligible to pass criteria for security clearance and airside pass applications.
+ Full UK drivers licence

Additional proficiency in any of the below is beneficial:

+ RC Detailing
+ Microstation
+ Civils 3D
