Full Job Description

The University of Manchester and Walgreens Boots Alliance (No7 Beauty Company / Boots) are engaged in a multi-million pound collaborative research programme aimed at understanding the complex mechanisms which underlie both skin ageing and the maintenance of skin health. Within this programme the laboratory of Prof. Silvia Bulfone-Paus on skin immunology.

As part of this research programme, we are seeking a Technician to work part time (50% time). The successful applicant will work with a postdoctoral research associate and a PhD student on projects which combine fundamental research with exciting opportunities in translational research. Please note, under the new immigration rules this role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the Points Based System. Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK in order to be eligible to take up the post.
