Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ceramicist with operational and technical knowledge of kilns, clay process, firing, mixing glazes, throwing and associated processes to support the art team as required.

The role will support and supervise the ceramic workshop and associated area, instructing students across a broad range of courses and providing technical production guidance. The ideal candidate will be pro-active team player with the ability to prioritise workload, self-motivate and take initiative.

Contractual Details

Rate of Pay or Salary: £23,086 - £23,915 pro rata per annum, actual salary £19,963 - £20,680 per annum.

Working Time: 37 hours per week for 38 weeks term time

Contract Type: Permanent

Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme
