JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for a Technologist, Jersey MW, to support the end-to-end quality of fit and construction for all jersey products, playing a crucial role in ensuring excellence from concept to final product.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage PLM admin, data input, fit comments, and size charts.
-Assess garment construction and product risks.
-Identify opportunities for cost engineering improvements.
-Coordinate seasonal fit meetings aligned with the business-critical path.
-Communicate fitting evaluations and amendments to vendors.
-Oversee garment testing processes with external test houses.
-Manage blocks and construction quality standards.
-Ensure product technical specifications meet standards and safety regulations.

PERSONAL PROFILE
-3+ years of experience in apparel or related industry, with a focus on jersey.
-Strong knowledge of apparel construction and fit.
-Experience in pattern making and grading.
-Testing experience is an advantage.
-Proficiency in PLM/PDM systems and MS Office.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Organised, efficient, and delivery-focused.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
-Consistency of fit and construction.
-Improved margins due to product engineering.
-Resolution of test failures without product compromise.
