Full Job Description
We are looking for a Technology Enabled Care (TEC) project lead to support the work of the Transformation Team for a 12 month period. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting pilot, trialling how technology can be used to support people and informal carers to receive respite, flexibly, in their own homes.
About the role
Under the supervision of the Transformation Project Manager and working closely with an existing TEC Project Lead, you will provide advice and technical guidance around technology solutions for customers.
This is a project management role and will involve project planning, milestone development, reporting and evaluation of the TEC services as well as working with people who draw on care and support, their carers and liaison with TEC and care providers. The working style for this role is 'mobile' meaning mainly home-based working with working at other agreed venues, when required.

This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Valid driving licence and own transport, or be able to provide alternative, suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.
Work Style

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
Project Management Experience: You can plan, execute and close projects. You have experience in using project management tools, processes, frameworks and reporting standards and can monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery.
Administrative Skills: You have strong administrative skills, allowing you to efficiently manage project documentation, schedules, and correspondence. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy and organisation in all administrative tasks.
Stakeholder Engagement: You excel in engaging and liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders and have effective communication skills that allow you to build positive relationships.
Technical Understanding: You have the technical knowledge, or are willing to learn, to provide clear advice, guidance and training on technology enabled care solutions to North Somerset Council employees and residents.
Legislative Awareness: You have a general awareness and understanding of relevant legislation, including safeguarding, information governance, confidentiality, and data protection., Disability Confident
