Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Technology Infrastructure Engineer to joins its IT Team.
The post holder will play a pivotal role in providing digital and technological support to College staff and students. They will work closely with the infrastructure and support lead to provide support on a range of projects and will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of essential infrastructure equipment, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability. The post holder will deliver outstanding technical support to all stakeholders, ensuring that they these are resolved within designated service level agreement parameters and act as a point of escalation of the Technology Support Technicians, resolving any issues that require complex or escalatory works. They will also assist with the procurement of hardware and software for the College and the purchase of consumables, materials and resources to support the day-to-day operations of the team.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or IT or relevant professional experience. They will have experience managing, configuring and supporting a large enterprise wired and wireless network and experience implementing systems and hardware to meet a variety of customer requirements. Knowledge of Windows server operating systems, network protocols, print management systems and Microsoft 365 Admin Centre modules is required.
