Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity to lead and manage the delivery of end user device services for Kent County Council.

Are you an experienced and innovative Technology Manager or Architect with a passion for end user device solutions? Do you have the skills and knowledge to set the strategic direction and priorities for how service providers deliver and manage end user devices for Kent County Council (KCC) staff and partners using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and other relevant technologies? If so, this could be the role for you!

You will be part of the Strategy & Enterprise Architecture Team and work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and IT Infrastructure teams to ensure the alignment of end user device solutions with KCC Technology strategy and policies, plus relevant standards and regulations, such as GDPR, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials. You will also provide expert advice and guidance to KCC and our Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo) on end user device issues and best practices, plus deliver reports, roadmaps, training, and documentation as required.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team that is committed to delivering digital transformation across one of the largest county councils in England. You will be part of a team that values openness, accountability, and innovation. You will also benefit from professional development, recognition, and flexible working arrangements.

As part of the interview process for this role you may be required to complete additional testing.

Interviews will be held week beginning 23 September 2024
