Full Job Description

  • Leading Strategy: Develop and implement sourcing and contracting strategies across the Technology category (Software, Hardware, Network, SaaS, IaaS), including complex, high-value projects.
  • Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations for various agreements, ensuring adherence to the Sourcing Policy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with senior internal stakeholders and project teams.
  • Execution of Strategies: Support the development and execution of Category Strategy for Technology, managing due diligence, supplier audits, and risk management.
  • Supplier Management: Manage and evaluate suppliers, negotiate complex contracts, and create innovative approaches for renewals to maximise performance and value.
  • Responsibilities will include:
  • Complex Sourcing: Create complex RFX, coordinate bidder responses, and lead the supplier evaluation process.
  • Supplier Onboarding: Lead onboarding processes, negotiate complex contracts, and foster positive supplier relationships.

  • Previous experience in a Technology focused Sourcing/Procurement role is essential
  • At least 5 years experience working within a global matrix environment with high value and complex agreements
  • Extensive exposure to sourcing, contracting and managing suppliers
  • Excellent communication and rapport building skills
  • A focus on continuous improvement
  • The ability to lead independently, but also work collaboratively as part of a team when needed
