Technology Technician

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Technology Technician to provide administrative and practical support to the Technology department - mainly in Food Technology.,

• have a flexible approach in order to support a range of duties in the Design Technology Department, mainly in food technology
• set out appropriate equipment for practical lessons including sourcing and shopping for ingredients
• maintain department records for care and support plans
• support the day-to-day running of the Design Technology spaces and in practical lessons where needed
• ensure health and safety procedures are followed
  
  be a well-motivated practitioner, keen to show their interest in Design Technology
• contribute to the development of the department as part of a dedicated team
• have a professional attitude that is open to innovative ways of working
• be committed to working in partnership with the Design Technology team and a range of other staff
• be flexible and adaptable when faced with challenges, experience a caring, positive ethos that prioritises staff wellbeing and recognition
• be empowered to work with ambitious, dedicated, capable staff who are deeply committed to develop the whole child
• experience working with children who enjoy being at school, behave exceptionally and have excellent attitudes to learning
• work in a professional, stimulating, and collaborative working environment
