    We are looking to appoint a Design and Technology Technician to provide technical support to the Design and Technology Faculty. Previous experience of working in a school technology environment would be advantageous but this role would suit someone with an interest in Design and Technology or practical skills such as woodworking or metalwork.
  • The successful candidate will have:
  • Successful experience working within a similar specialist environment
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in the specialist area (s)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to use clear language to communicate information and the ability to listen effectively
  • Ability to establish rapport and to maintain respectful and trusting relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to plan and manage own time effectively
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety, safeguarding and child protection
  • A commitment to equality and diversity and inclusion
