Full Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Tekla & 2D Designer who will work under the authority of the senior CAD Lead: Key responsibilities will be:

  • Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3, ETC-C and Edvance internal guidance's
  • Liaising with the building layout and Civil teams to coordinate the design
  • Maintaining Edvance's QA procedures in delivering the SW design
  • Working with the SW engineers in the preparation of the design drawings/models
  • Reporting progression in team meetings
  • Design office experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health & Safety regulations

    Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of 3D tools, and capability to produce high quality 2D drawings
  • Previous experience in SW design
  • Experience of dealing with design and layout constraints
