Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join the developing maternity triage team at ESHT. The role will consist of mainly night work, answering the telephone to triage calls from antenatal and postnatal women, making rapid assessments and appropriate referrals for ongoing care if needed.
- Answering he maternity triage line to antenatal and postnatal women in the ESHT area.
- Reviewing Badgernotes for history taking and documentation of call details and referral pathways.
- Liaising with the labour ward co-ordinator and wider maternity care team to arrange appropriate care for women.
- Giving advice to those who call the triage line or common complications of pregnancy or early labour, or signposting to other services as required.
