TSO seeks a confident Telesales Campaign Executive to join our team!
TSO is a UK based content publisher, delivering high quality publishing solutions, across multiple formats on behalf of clients to end customers in the UK and globally. Originally specialising in government regulatory publishing, TSO is actively developing new clients in private sector professional publishing.
TSO's Contact Centre provides inbound customer services support for some high-profile clients, such as Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, Home Office, Health and Safety Executive and The National Archives.
Role purpose:
TSO's Contact Centre Telesales Campaign Executives support the sales process through outbound contact, for some high-profile clients, such as the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory agency (MHRA) Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) , Home Office (HO), and our International Publications Agency (IPA) title portfolio to name a few!, To sell, through agreed campaigns, publications to industry professionals, organisations & the public, inbound and outbound, via phone and e-mail.

  • Establish customers' needs and requirements and sell products depending on those needs and requirements, also with a focus on cross-selling and up-selling.

  • Through maintenance of sales pipeline (using our CRM system 5CRM) report to the Contact Centre Manager on any campaign, ensuring leads are regularly contacted and supported and sales targets are achieved, and to explore, where possible, opportunities for revenue growth.

  • The post may also require a limited amount of face-to-face contact so candidates must be prepared to travel and be highly presentable and professional, confident and pro-active in helping TSO seek its sales objectives.

  • The post is commissioned based so experience of working to, and achieving targets is preferable.

  • To present a supportive, positive and enthusiastic attitude towards the role, team, company and its products at all times


  • Responsibilities:

  • Achieve a monthly sales target.
  • Generate new business through cold and warm leads, up selling and cross selling as appropriate.

  • Retain current business through renewals, responding to customer's changing needs.

  • Identify proactive lead generation opportunities.

  • Answer incoming calls, as part of a team, promoting and selling official products.

  • Provide and maintain a record of activities on an ongoing basis, including figures and anyother details which may be required by the Contact Centre Manager in order to keep an up-to-date record of contacts, sales leads, sales and performance

    Excellent communication skills (phone and written)

  • Drive and determination to achieve a target

  • Ability to build a solid rapport with customers, both over the phone and in writing

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Enthusiasm to succeed on a daily basis

  • Resilience to respond to any objections and setbacks

  • Professional manner

  • Previous sales experience an advantage
