As the project manager, you will oversee habitat creation at West Muchlarnick (150 acres), a flagship site for temperate rainforest development. You will also extend these efforts by advising and supporting private landowners in the area whilst developing new projects. The role is backed by our East Cornwall reserves team and will require the coordination of multiple funding sources, including carbon offsetting, woodland creation grants, and innovative financing methods., Lead the temperate rainforest creation and restoration at West Muchlarnick and surrounding areas. Develop new project opportunities to deliver habitat creation and restoration in the West Looe River catchment. Advise and support private landowners on woodland and habitat creation initiatives. Manage project budgets and secure funding from multiple sources, including carbon offsetting and environmental land management funds. Build and maintain partnerships with contractors, volunteer groups, and stakeholders. Cornwall Wildlife Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Temperate Rainforest Project Manager to lead the creation and restoration of temperate rainforest habitats in the West Looe river catchment, one of our key strategic focal areas. This role is critical to enabling the opportunities emerging in this region, with significant project activity expected to start this year., Proven project management experience, especially in conservation or ecological restoration. Proven experience of developing projects and securing grants. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside diverse groups, including landowners, contractors, and volunteers. Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to co-create projects, solutions and concepts with success. The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, on a fixed term 2 year contract, with the potential for extension.,
