Full Job Description

We are looking for some temporary support within our operations team at North East Hants and Surrey Maths Hub throughout January, as a Maths Hub Coordinator. In addition to this will be some hours during the week beginning 9th December to facilitate a handover. The Maths Hub facilitates professional development for 576 schools across Surrey and North-East Hampshire, and the operations team are at the heart of this. The team supports a large local network of teachers and leaders of maths education supporting schools in improving maths education for all children, from nursery to college. As a temporary Maths Hub coordinator, the successful candidate will:

  • Support the smooth and effective operation of the Maths Hub
  • Implement all processes and procedures for the internal Maths Hub leadership team and external leaders of maths education, liaising with the Project Manager
  • Organise and monitor all logistics for programmes/events
  • Manage administration for upcoming programmes/events
  • The working hours for the four-week period in January are 9am-5pm. There is some flexibility in the hours for the week beginning 9th December.
