Any applications via agency will also not be accepted., An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead the Health Roster & Staff Bank Teams through an exciting period of change.
The service is currently trialling a proof of concept whereby a centralised temporary staffing function supports and facilitates roster efficiencies and a centralised staffing hub as part of the agency reduction programme for all nursing, non-medical & dental and admin and clerical staff groups across United Lincolnshire Teaching Trust and Lincolnshire Community Health Services.
Working across group to align Health Roster and Temporary Staffing processes is a fundamental remit within this role.
Experience of Staff Bank and Allocate Optima would be highly desirable., The post holder will have leadership and workforce management experience, be expert in pursuing service improvements and innovation, and will support the delivery of safe staffing and safe patient care across the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
You will work with clinical staff and heads of departments to ensure that the rostering system is fully embedded and that clinical and non-clinical teams are rostered in the most efficient and safe way.
You will deliver projects to comply with key performance indicators. Ensuring projects and initiatives are delivered on time, to quality standards and in a cost-effective manner, adjusting plans as required
Oversees the governance arrangements, compliance checks and onboarding of temporary staff and agency suppliers. Managing the preferred supplier list, identifying engagement strategies and priorities for temporary staffing resource
Ability to optimise workforce available and drive improvement through key performance indicators, e.g., sickness, temporary staffing usage, Roster efficiencies.

+ To be responsible for ensuring governance and quality standards are met in relation to the use of rostering staff across the Trust.
+ To work closely with clinical staff and managers to ensure that effective systems and processes for the use and booking of temporary staff and substantive staff are embedded into practice throughout the Trust.
+ To minimise the use of agency staff by replacing them with Bank staff.
+ To work closely with the Divisional Service Leads to develop and expand the internal Staff Bank and reduce spend on premium staffing (agency).
+ To work closely across the Integrated Care System (ICS) and with other external partners.
+ To ensure that the Bank and Rostering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met
