Temporary Teaching Assistant 2B

Lancaster Christ Church Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with an EHCP.
The successful applicant will support the child's educational, personal and social development under the direction of the class teacher and will establish positive relationships to assist them to complete structured learning activities and enable positive interactions with peers. The successful applicant will have high expectations of conduct and behaviour and establish supportive relationships with pupils, parents, and other staff members.
The post is for 28.75 hours per week, and will include providing support for the child at lunchtimes.
The post is temporary until 31st August 2025.

NVQ (or equivalent) Level 2 (or above) qualification which is relevant to the post, or evidence of a commitment to achieving this within an agreed timeframe, Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
First Aid qualification

Enthusiasm, initiative, reliability and a commitment to ensuring that all children have a high-quality learning experience within a nurturing and inspiring environment.
Desirable Experience
Experience of working in a classroom environment.
