Full Job Description

Our MKS sales team promote our mechanical key and locking products to the security and construction industries via the establishment and maintenance of partnership agreements with suppliers and distributors. The primary role will be to maintain and develop a network of partners who deal with the installation and distribution businesses such as locksmiths, architectural hardware stockists etc. who can specify and install our products in their customer's projects. The second part of the role is to help this network of distributors identify opportunities to supply and install these products to industry, ensuring the growth of our mechanical Key systems business. The key to success in this role is to the management of these partnerships, collaborating with these partners via regular contact and being able to identify and secure business opportunities for these partners.

  • Previous experience in a business development role ideally within the construction or security industries, with significant focus on the retention of clients to build long term, profitable relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and remotely without close supervision
  • Geographically located to cover the Southeast of the UK to include London
