Our team is composed of Software Engineers, Testers, Product, UX and Delivery disciplines working in close collaboration. We welcome applications from all, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality, social background, religion and/or beliefWorking to the Test Manager, the Test Lead will take responsibility for managing, leading, setting direction and co-ordinating test across a group of product test teams or a programme of work., As a Test Team Lead within the Partnerships teams, you will be accountable for shaping the test strategy within the team(s). You will be key in estimating test effort, planning resourcing and conduct test activities. You will be engaging and supporting your stakeholders and build a strong relationship across all partnership teams. You will enable your team to continuously look for improvements in test processes and use of tooling, and contribute to enhance the team effectiveness. You will be fostering a learning culture in the team through encouraging active sharing of knowledge, engaging in test community and find opportunities to develop your team members. You will be part of the test leadership team across product group, contributing to shaping up consistent ways of working for Test, collaborate with the team in initiatives to improve test teams effectiveness across product group.

  • Experience of leading software testing - designing and implementing test approaches for complex products in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience in people management, including recruiting, leading, mentoring, coaching, and career development.
  • Experience of innovating and experimenting in testing processes and solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience of test automation frameworks.
  • Experience in working with TV platforms such as Virgin Media, Sky, BT, Freely.
  • Experience in testing TV applications on TV's, streamers, and game consoles.
  • Experience of cross-team task leadership and collaboration
  • Strong ability to influence diverse and senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Consulting and client management skills including a track record of good relationship management including motivation, collaboration and influencing or internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading large teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Expertise in agile software development methodologies including behaviour and test-driven development.
  • Expertise in problem solving and providing creative solutions.
  • Good written and spoken communications skills; comfortable engaging at all levels in the organisation.
