Test Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available to join CIL as an RF Test Technician. The role will primarily involve; Functional testing, fault finding, programming software and building of customer products. This is a great opportunity for someone who has had some exposure in testing/fault finding and who is eager to develop their transferable skills into a more focused role and progress within a well-established and growing organisation.,

• Functional testing and programming of new and existing products according to customer specifications and requirements.
• Building assemblies following customer suppled work instructions or drawings.
• Setup and strip down of ATE test racks for various board types.
• Yield measurement, recording and analysis.
• Monitor and identify failure modes and feedback possible solutions to CIL production supervisor, management and/or engineering.
• Follow company procedures and work instructions at all times.
• Follow guidance and training from colleagues and peers.
  
  Previous experience of product testing and fault finding, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Use of fine tools and microscopes
• Knowledge of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes
• Computer Literate
Advantageous:
• Previous experience in a PCB Testing environment
• Use and experience of test equipment associated with RF electronics such as spectrum and network analysers
• Electronics qualification or equivalent
• Previous Hand Soldering experience
