Test Technician (Control Panels)

We are currently recruiting for a Test Technician to join our workshop based at our Head Office in Southampton. As part of a team building control panels predominantly for the water, power and petrochemical industries, you will be responsible for testing and verifying outputs of control panels against design schematics including fault finding, diagnosis and repair. This is a full-time role working 45 hours each week. The working hours are 07:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.,

• Control panel fault finding and testing
• Read instructions, schematics and technical drawings
• Loom wiring, panel build soldering and machine wiring
• Maintenance, fault finding and repair of MCCs / control panels
  
  Experience of working as a Test Technician/Wireman in a fault-finding role
• Be confident working to production deadlines with a can-do attitude
• Strong communication skills
• A history of working within the water, energy or power advantageous
