Full Job Description

  • Design and execution of testing scenarios (automated (functional/non-functional) and manual) including record keeping

  • Analysis of test results and timely raising of defects

  • Contributes to the integrity of testing and acceptance activities minimising defect leakage into production

  • Supports test lead in identification of problem areas, suggesting, reviewing and implementing corrective actions

  • Conformance to agreed process standards and industry specific regulations

  • Supporting a culture of continuous improvements through regular retrospectives

    3+ years practical experience working in a Testing role, supporting and testing enterprise level customer and employee facing applications

  • Experience in creating test approach, test design and execution (manual and automated) for small to medium size initiatives

  • Understanding of various testing methodologies

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology

  • Tools & Technologies:

  • + Guidewire Insurance Suite
    + ALM Octane, JIRA or equivalent tools
    + For functional automation knowledge of frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG or equivalent
    + For non-functional knowledge of performance testing tools and frameworks such as Load/Storm Runner, TrueClient
    + Good understanding of BDD and / or TDD
