As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems Offshore team based in Newcastle UK, you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system., We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Testing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of the testing process, including Bill of Materials (BOM) management, Quality Management System (QMS) updates, ensuring compliance for pressure testing equipment, issuing work permits and managing and coordinating administration for End Fitting capability. As a Testing Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure BOMs align with product specifications and testing requirements.
  • Reviewing, updating, and maintaining Bills of Materials to ensure accuracy and completeness for all products undergoing testing.
  • Monitoring BOM changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the Quality Management System.
  • Ensuring that all testing processes and procedures are compliant with QMS standards and industry regulations.
  • Conducting regular reviews of QMS documentation, recommending updates and improvements as necessary.
  • Overseeing the maintenance and calibration of pressure testing equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of testing equipment, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly.
  • Maintaining records of equipment certifications, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
  • Reviewing and approving work permit requests related to testing activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating with relevant departments to ensure that all safety measures are in place before testing commences.
  • Tracking and managing the status of work permits, ensuring timely approvals and closure of permits once testing is complete.
  • Maintaining accurate records of testing activities, equipment compliance, and work permits.
  • Documenting and following up on corrective actions for any non-compliance findings.
  • Supporting purchase requests and purchase orders issuance for the site.

    Have a high School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Have experience coordinating people and processes to ensure strict compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
