Text & Design Specialist

Vitaflo (International) Ltd are looking to recruit a Text & Design Specialist to work within the Global Text & Design Team on a full-time 2 year fixed term contract. The role will be based at Vitaflo head officewhich is situated just outside Liverpool city centre. Reporting directly into the Text & Design Manager, you will be responsible for the generation and amendments to multilingual packaging artwork. Coordinate proofing and approval and set-up approved artwork with third party manufacturers. Work closely with Regulatory, Marketing and Packaging Technologist to approve packaging components across a complex portfolio. What will you do? As the Text & Design Specialist, your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Generation and amendment of packaging artwork.
• Facilitate internal and international proofing and approval.
• Support and offer training to users of proofing system.
• Communicate with printers to prepare artwork for print.
• Adhere to processes and corporate brand guidelines.
• Participate in project meetings, advising on progress and timeframes.
• Development of new & existing artwork processes in support of the Artwork Manager.
• Additional artwork-related activities to support Clinical Nutrition, Marketing and Packaging Technology functions (development of product compendium, protocols, fact books and product pack shots and digital support).
  
  To be successful for the role, we are looking for applicants that possess the following skills and experience:
• Graduate in a creative subject area such as graphic design, media.
• Previous experience in creating and managing packaging artwork is essential.
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
• The ability to follow instructions and standard working practices.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Good organisation skills.
