Full Job Description

Main Duties: To operate machinery across the textile mill - include loading, setting in & changing bobbins, etc.. in Carding & Spinning Department

  • Candidates MUST passed Colour Blind Test


    • FLT Licence is ideal but not essential

    Key Responsibilities

    · Setting up, feeding & maintaining textile production machines.

    · Removal of finished product from the machine

    · Work efficiently & effectively to meet production targets.

    · Pack, store & label production

    · Maintain a clean, safe & organized work area.

    · Follow safety protocols and procedures.

    · Ensure the smooth & efficient running of the department.

    · Ability to stand & involve regular manual handling.

    · Attention to details & good observation skills.

    · Flexibility in supporting & operating across various departments.

    · Ability to work to targets unsupervised and on own initiative

    · Ability to work in a team

    · Ability to work 2 shifts on a rotational basis

    Ideal Candidate

    · Willingness to learn.

    · Excellent track record of time keeping & attitude.

    · Full training will be provided but previous experience in textile manufacturing would be advantageous.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: £11.44-£13.50 per hour

    Expected hours: 37.5 per week
