    What day-to-day looks like at AMANN.
  • Safely and effectively, set up and operate textile-processing machinery to the most current guidelines as detailed in the relevant work instruction.

  • Produce orders within specifications and to set schedules whilst ensuring that product is properly and suitably identified at all times.

  • Carry out routine machine checks and examine products for defects. Reporting such issues to the relevant Supervisor, Manager or Engineer without delay.

  • Referencing the correct Work Instructions for full operating details of textile machinery.

  • Loading and unloading goods for processing by hand using trucks, trolleys and tubs where required.

  • Cleaning the machines in accordance with the relevant cleaning schedule and to maintain the general work area in a clean and organised condition.

  • Carry out simple maintenance operations.

  • Accurately use relevant forms to record process and quality details.

  • Co-operate with managers and supervisors in carrying out other tasks as required to fulfil business needs.

  • Operate textile machines in other departments (following sufficient training) to provide cover or to react to the production needs of the Company.

  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required and adhere to all safety rules.

  • Actively participate in waste reduction and energy saving initiatives
