  • As part of the recruitment process for this post, candidates will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy test and only if they pass this, will they be invited to a formal interview.

  • As a member of a multi-disciplinary Theatre team, you will participate in planning, delivering and evaluating the highest possible level of peri-operative care to patients, contributing to overall effectiveness of the department.

  • Working within the team, to support the patient comfort, dignity and always having special regard to issues of patient confidentiality

  • To carry out care, delegated from professionally qualified staff, requiring a wide technical ability, numeracy, and accuracy as well as a significant level of interpersonal skills.

  • Following training, assist the qualified staff in circulating for the surgical procedures.

  • Collection of blood and blood products from blood bank and assisting with use of blood gas machine after undertaking the training.
