Displaying a high level of patient care ., The Post holder will form a part of the theatre team providing Anaesthetic & Recovery or Scrub and Recovery skills to patients undergoing surgery.     We have a number of opportunities for highly motivated, enthusiastic, engaged and forward thinking practitioners to join our busy, friendly operating team. We are looking for staff that will assist in developing our progressive service whilst making a positive contribution towards the team's pursuit of excellence. You will be a Registered Nurse (NMC) /Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC) or a student nurse/trainee ODP approaching the end of your training, previous experience of working in an operating theatre is therefore essential. We have 10 elective/trauma theatres. We also have 2 further theatres which have a dedicated 24hr Emergency team to cater for Emergency surgery and Maternity theatre's needs.We will provide you with support and training for your primary role within theatres and offer opportunities for your personal and professional development. The successful candidates will demonstrate a flexible attitude and will deliver a high standard of quality care within the department. Good communication and organisational skills are essential, with the ability to work within a team to deliver a high quality service to our patients.
