Full Job Description

Are you an ODP or Anaesthetic Nurse with a passion for delivering high quality care, but also love the sea, countryside and fresh air? This might be the job for you! We are looking for ODP's or Anaesthetic Nurses to join us in Scarborough and Bridlington. We run eight theatres over two sites, covering many specialities including; general surgery, urology, gynaecology, ENT, Max Fax, ophthalmology, obstetrics, elective orthopaedics and trauma. We have established day surgery wards on both sites and an excellent elective orthopaedic ward, ensuring our same day discharge rates for joint replacements are some of the best in the country. We cover a 24 hour emergency theatre and are heavily involved in cardiac arrest teams, trauma teams and paediatric emergency teams meaning no two days are the same. Day to day duties will include using acquired anaesthetic skills to support the anaesthetic needs of the peri-operative patient, as well as supporting the emergency response teams with the airway needs of deteriorating patients. Evidence of training in such roles is essential for any candidates wishing to apply. Whether newly qualified or have a wealth of experience we want to hear from you. Not only can we provide a varied work day but we are based within minutes of the beaches meaning you can achieve a healthy work life balance.
