Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Recovery in the Theatres at Royal Bolton Hospital. We are looking for well-motivated and enthusiastic individuals who would like to be part of an innovative, patient focussed pro-active team.

The recovery team provides clinical support to both the surgical and anaesthetics teams, delivering a high standard of care which encompasses the trust values.

We have a very busy unit that covers a wide range of specialities including General Surgery, Orthopaedic, Maternity, ENT, Gynaecology, Emergency and Trauma with a commitment to on call and out of hours cover.

The Trust appreciates and values the contribution international nurses bring to the NHS. We also understand the support overseas nurses need to gain full registration once in the UK (via OSCE) and therefore we only recruit internationally to fill nursing vacancies when we can ensure support is in place. At this present time we aren't in a position to offer that support and therefore will not accept applications from overseas nurses who only have Part 1 NMC registration. If that position changes in future we will clearly advertise our opportunities for international nurses to join our nurse team here in Bolton. Thank you for your understanding.

This role will enable the individual to develop enhanced airway management and critical care skills in caring for both adult and paediatric patients within elective and emergency surgery, we also cover obstetric theatres, both elective and emergencies.

You must be a first level Nurse/ODP with a current Registration with the NMC or HCPC. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given., Disability Confident
