Full Job Description

The operating department at the Friarage Hospital currently has 5 operating theatres within the Unit and in 2025 we will be opening our new Surgical Hub which will have 6 main operating theatres and 2 Minor Op rooms and a Block room The theatres provide an operating service to the following clinical specialities: General Surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Orthopaedics, Plastics,ENT,Maxillofacial, Ophthalmic,Pain and Spinal Surgery.
You will need to be an active member of the multidisciplinary team by demonstrating a range of essential skills to lead your team .
The department is committed to staff development and offers the opportunity to develop your leadership skills further. Staff will at times be expected to work across site at the main tertiary centre at James Cook University Hospital. Good communication and organisational skills and the ability to lead a team are essential to this post.

The method of payment for this is via salary deduction from your first month's pay.
