Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a Theatre Support Workerwho shares our ambition and vision to deliver theBest of Care by the Best Peopleand has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Under supervision the post holder is responsible for carrying out assigned tasks as part of the clinical team in support of registered practitioners, and to undertake some aspects of care provision under supervision. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users, always working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights, through the adoption of persons centred care principles within the perioperative environment of the operating theatres.

Main duties of the job

To assist the qualified staff in providing perioperative care to patients by undertaking a range of support duties, working under the direction and supervision of the qualified theatre practitioner.

To ensure patients receive high quality clinical care and a good patient experience, having regard for their customs, religious beliefs and doctrines
