We welcome an experienced theatre practitioner/Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to apply for this exciting opportunity within the theatre department at Newark Hospital. As a Theatre Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and support within our dedicated theatre team. This position offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the daily activities of the theatre department, ensuring that all procedures are carried out safely and efficiently. You will work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our patients. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and promoting continuous professional development among staff.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning and development of the theatre services, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance patient outcomes. This role requires a proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond to the changing needs of the department and the wider hospital.
