Full Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Theatre Administrative Assistant to support the clinical teams and theatre activity at Ashtead Hospital. The ideal candidate will have good administration skills and have the ability to organize and prioritize their workload whilst working under pressure and part of a team. You will need to be a good communicator and will be able to liaise confidently with clinicians, staff and visitors to the unit at all levels., Handling enquiries and calls relating to Theatres and the operational aspects of the department Supporting theatres with administration tasks Maintaining appropriate safe stock levels of consumables within Theatres including par levels and stock rotation Act as point of contact for Theatres Developing and maintaining relevant databases Communicating with consultants and secretaries Promoting and participating in effective communications between other hospital departments and outside agencies as required Performing other ad-hoc duties as required by the Heads of Departments and the Senior Management Team
