Full Job Description

The Perinatal Pelvic Health Service administrator role is a new and exciting post, within the Women's Health Physiotherapy service. The post-holder will be required to take an active part in helping to run, monitor and evaluate the service. This will include, data input, analysis and statistical collection across all three outpatients sites. e.g. referrals received, patients seen, DNA and UTA rates, waiting lists, etc as well as provide an effective and efficient administrative and reception support for the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) and the wider Therapy Department., + The successful candidate will be working within the small Women's Health Physiotherapy team, providing an effective and efficient reception service to patients and visitors to the department, but will be working as part of a much bigger Physiotherapy service.
+ Data input, analysis and statistical collection across all three outpatients sites for the PPHS. E.g. referrals received, patients seen, DNA and UTA rates.
+ The post holder will be expected to work closely alongside the Women's Health Physiotherapy team, assisting in basic day-to-day running of the department including answering the phone, rearranging appointments, ordering equipment, managing stock levels, issuing and cleaning equipment, as well as administrative tasks such as photocopying and sending out letters and information to patients.
+ The person appointed to the post will be expected to register referrals, and book patient appointments following the booked appointment system for the Women's Heath Physiotherapy Team, manging this across all 3 sites. They will be patient facing, acting as a point of contact for the public and staff of the Therapy department, taking messages, transferring calls and informing therapists of patient attendance/non-attendance.
+ The applicant needs to have excellent person skills, be confident and outgoing and thrive in a busy; and sometimes stressful environment. The successful applicant will be friendly, a team player and have good organisation and time management skills., If you are an internal applicant there is the option for secondment, all applicants must have the endorsement/support of their line manager prior to application.
