Full Job Description

You will work alongside therapists on the wards, undertaking therapy programmes to improve a patient's mobility and functional ability and assist in the risk assessment process for patient's needs on discharge.
If you would like to join an amazing and dedicated team for a fixed term contract, we would love to hear from you!, + To carry out delegated therapy assessments and rehabilitation programmes as specified by the qualified therapist.
+ To provide therapy to patients within the Rehabilitation Services as part of an agreed working rota.
+ To work as part of the medicine therapy team involved in the assessment and treatment of patients with multi-pathology who may often exhibit confusion or anxiety. The therapy assistants may well be asked to work on other wards depending upon the staffing needs of the Trust.
+ To facilitate rapid discharge of patents from the ward, this will include screening of medical patients, providing information and the provision of equipment if necessary to ensure a safe discharge.

The Rehabilitation Service are looking for someone with suitable experience who is looking to develop their role at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital within the Acute Medical team.
