Make a difference at our new health care setting, Spinneyfields in Rushden where you will play a vital role in supporting our patients who have been transferred from the main hospital ready for rehabilitation. At Spinneyfields, we offer flexible working hours on our bank to suit your current lifestyle as we know work / life balance is important. You will also enjoy the convenience of on-site parking, making your commute stress free., You will manage and prioritise your own case load independently, assessing and treating patients with a wide variety of conditions. You will also assist in assessing and carrying out specific rehabilitation programmes for clients with more complex needs, so improving their quality of life. You should have the ability to work alone as well as within a team. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential. This post is ideally for 37.5 hour per week working on our temporary staffing bank or we would consider a fixed-term contract ending 31/03/25, the post holder will be expected to work across 7 days.     WHO WE ARE:
  • Our Acute Hospital Therapy Team is a rapidly developing, innovative team providing high-quality assessment and treatment, beginning in A&E, MAU and Urgent Care areas, following patients through to the Medical wards, Trauma and Orthopaedic wards, Surgical wards and Spinneyfields step-down unit.
  • You will work as a Therapy Assistant Practitioner and report to the Head of Therapies.
