Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is Santander's global division that supports some of the world's most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients, offering customised services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs. A great opportunity has arisen in our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) function. It is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract where you will be able to showcase your skills and abilities in driving risk management activities, which may include work on risk metrics, assurance testing, concentration risk assessments. You'll also be embedding of policies, standards, methodology, while monitoring day-to-day oversight and compliance. The difference you'll make:

  • Supporting the delivery of requisite training and awareness session to service managers on Outsourcing and TPRM Policy, procedures, and requirements
  • Working closely with subject matter experts such as Information Security, Procurement and other risk areas ensure comprehensive training and monitoring of outsourcing and third-party risks
  • Monitoring the governance and reporting of aggregate exposure to concentration risks of third parties and sub-contractors
  • Conducting and reporting on the outcomes of regular diligence and qualitative assurance activity and control assurance testing cross the entire Third-Party life cycle
  • Providing guidance to stakeholders on ongoing oversight of third-party governance and risk mitigation controls
  • Building relationships with key internal and group stakeholders, to oversee external parties on operational processes and resolution of issues

    These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
  • Experience in managing Outsourcing and TPRM programmes
  • Good understanding of the UK and EU regulatory requirements for Outsourcing and TPRM
  • It would also be nice for you to have:
  • Background in third party or supplier risk in financial services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, together with the ability to effectively manage complex stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access) and other collaboration tools

    This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.
