This role has the full ownership of the end-to-end processes and reporting for Proclinical Group's EU entities. This is a hands-on role which requires attention to detail. With the ability work closely with the International Finance teams and other stakeholders to meet the month end deadlines.,

• Full ownership and oversight of Temporary Payroll and temporary margins for Swiss and German entities
• Permanent/Temporary Revenue recognition for Germany and oversight of Swiss Perm and Temp invoicing.
• Managing the EU Sales ledger and AP Ledger. Liaising with Credit controller and Accounts payable team.
• Monthly forecasting of Gross Margin (Permanent and Temporary)
• Working with the local accountants compiling and submitting the VAT returns for Germany (Monthly), Belgium and Switzerland (Quarterly)
• Ensuring that all statutory reporting and payments for the relevant EU entities are filed with the help of the local accountants and escalating any issued to the Senior Finance Manager where needed.
• Managing Cashflow forecast
• Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations monthly ensuring clean balance sheets.
• Full accountability for maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation charges for the EU entities
• Managing the annual audits for all relevant entities with the help of the Senior Finance Manager for EU and Global Head of Finance
• Monthly board pack presentation to Board and trend reviews with FD, head of Finance and Senior Finance Managers
  
  Essential skills, knowledge & qualifications:
• Qualified or part qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Proficient in Excel, notably VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
• Experience with general ledger functions and accrual-based accounting
• Experience dealing with foreign currency transactions and bank accounts

Salary: £45,000 + study package + Bonus
