Are you skilled in GDS systems like Amadeus and ready to craft seamless travel experiences? Join our Experience Education team in Brighton as a Ticketing Specialist and put your expertise to work in creating memorable journeys for our customers!
Experience Education is a unique collection of brands including SkiBound, Travelbound, Edwin Doran, Masterclass, and JCA, leading the way in global educational travel across Europe, Australia, Dubai and the US and we're on a mission to create the most inspiring experiences for our guests, with memories that last for a lifetime!, As our Ticketing Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering fast, accurate ticketing services to our Education Experience teams and travellers, ensuring every journey starts smoothly. Your background in ticketing-ideally with Amadeus expertise-will help you manage all aspects of ticketing, including BSP administration, with confidence and precision., + Check that the fare is accurate, stored in the booking before processing tickets and that time limits have not passed
+ Check if the fare is available for ticketing, and update all taxes, backdating where necessary if permitted
+ Liaise with internal departments if any fare discrepancies arise before ticketing
+ Daily checking of BSP to check any ADM's and ACM's and investigate and allocate as required
+ Effectively manage the reclaiming of refunds due from airlines
Ticketing:
+ Issue Group tickets
+ Issue tickets using passive segments where necessary
+ Issue Automated EMD's for group deposits and ancillary services
+ Re-issue tickets both manually and using Ticket changer
+ Issuing tickets and boarding passes for low-cost flights
Admin tasks:
+ Keep up to date with all work-related product and service updates, attending webinars and training sessions run by airlines, Amadeus and IATA
+ Dealing with the administration of bookings, including the provision of names to airlines, the booking of 'extras' such as sports bags and skis, dealing with name changes and flight amendments, producing boarding passes
+ Updating flight routes and actual costs within Travelink (in-house reservation system)
+ Loading estimated flight costs for each season year on year
+ Continue assessing and challenging processes within the team to ensure department is working to the best of their capacity
+ Regularly checking airlines for any updates on check-in procedures, name changes and costs

+ Proven experience in a customer-focused service environment
+ Proficiency in GDS systems, preferably Amadeus
+ Skilled at handling pressure and adept at prioritizing tasks effectively
+ Good knowledge of geography and airline networks
+ Strong attention to detail with a solid administrative background
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
+ Highly organized, with a logical approach to managing and prioritizing a full workload
+ Passionate about customer satisfaction, consistently striving to go above and beyond
+ Self-motivated and determined, with a dedication to achieving performance targets
+ Collaborative team player with a flexible, adaptable attitude
